Go to the 3D Church Demonstration Our first demonstration project shows our software's capability for displaying smaller fundraising projects. This example is of the fictional church "Newton Fellowship Chapel", which is undergoing some renovations. Supposing that the church wanted to show it's members a sample of what the finished project would look like, and gain some interest from the surrounding community, this is an excellent way to fundraise. In this example, a single 3D model shows the church with its renovated stained glass windows and pipe organ. A few different camera views are available to showcase the project: an Exterior view that orbits the church to show the setting and the stained glass from the outside, a Ground view that tours the outside and offers a better glimpse of the windows, and an Interior camera that gives a tour of the inside - including a view of the organ. The model is made just for this demonstration and this church doesn't really exist, but the scenario of stained glass window or organ renovations is common. Of course the donate page is available to see how the software works, but the software is not connected to a payment processor and the fields on the donate page are not used except for the Donor Name, which appears on the Donor List page, and the Amount field which of course is applied to the project when a donation is submitted. On a live site, this page would be secured using SSL Encryption and the backend would be connected to the client's payment processor to handle realtime credit card payments. A church doing a project of this sort would likely benefit from the ease of donation that is supplied by online credit card transactions, but perhaps the bulk of donations would come from members of the church, and perhaps from special offerings, which would not be processed online. For these situations, there is a simple way to supply donations into the software manually, by the church office. This method works and looks essentially the same as the donate page, without the backend processing (and no capturing of credit card information) so it is not shown here. |
