Online giving has become essential for any fundraising organization today. Whatever the purpose behind an organization, the donors they are trying to reach expect to be able to learn about its mission online, and to use their credit card to donate online as well. Besides the convenience for donors and the reduced administration for organizations, one non-profit credit card processor found online donations were 30% to, in some cases, over 600% higher on average than offline giving.

A demo of Standard BTG's progressive iBuild Online Fundraising Software is now online. This demo shows a small church renovation, and allows users to see both the inside and outside of the church with a short tour. Test donations can be made to see how the graphics are updated, and the donations can be reset at any time. Click here for more information about the iBuild Online Fundraising Demo.

Project Heartwood, created with the iBuild Online Fundraising System, has been set up as a demonstration on this site.

Visit it here to see how the software has been used to show the apartments and the fundraising progress.

Show donors the vision and progression of your fundraising project with fully interactive 3D over the Internet. Use walkthroughs and overhead views to show the project in fine detail and the big picture. Get donors involved by making the project tangible and accessible. Accept donations online in realtime and show the fundraising progress as parts of the project are payed for. Contact us to talk about how 3D Interactive Fundraising Online can benefit your organization.

Project Heartwood is now live on the net. This $10 million affordable housing project is seeking to raise almost $3 million through donations. The fundraising progress is shown using the iBuild Fundraising System, at http://www.heartwoodplace.ca/onlinebuild, and donations can be accepted online too. The software developed by Standard BTG Inc. is being used to show each apartment and 10 separate areas in each where donations are applied. There is also an exterior view that shows a lighted apartment window for every complete apartment!

Go to the 3D Church Demonstration

Our first demonstration project shows our software's capability for displaying smaller fundraising projects. This example is of the fictional church "Newton Fellowship Chapel", which is undergoing some renovations. Supposing that the church wanted to show it's members a sample of what the finished project would look like, and gain some interest from the surrounding community, this is an excellent way to fundraise.

In this example, a single 3D model shows the church with its renovated stained glass windows and pipe organ. A few different camera views are available to showcase the project: an Exterior view that orbits the church to show the setting and the stained glass from the outside, a Ground view that tours the outside and offers a better glimpse of the windows, and an Interior camera that gives a tour of the inside - including a view of the organ. The model is made just for this demonstration and this church doesn't really exist, but the scenario of stained glass window or organ renovations is common.

Of course the donate page is available to see how the software works, but the software is not connected to a payment processor and the fields on the donate page are not used except for the Donor Name, which appears on the Donor List page, and the Amount field which of course is applied to the project when a donation is submitted. On a live site, this page would be secured using SSL Encryption and the backend would be connected to the client's payment processor to handle realtime credit card payments.

A church doing a project of this sort would likely benefit from the ease of donation that is supplied by online credit card transactions, but perhaps the bulk of donations would come from members of the church, and perhaps from special offerings, which would not be processed online. For these situations, there is a simple way to supply donations into the software manually, by the church office. This method works and looks essentially the same as the donate page, without the backend processing (and no capturing of credit card information) so it is not shown here.
